Sunday 20th July 14.00-17.30
The Box Moor Trust Old Barn, HP1 2RF
A blissful half day retreat for anyone going through menopause, or who suspects they may be perimenopausal.
Held at the beautiful Box Moor Trust Old Barn, surrounded by woodland and rolling hills, we will be practising yoga (outdoors if the weather allows) and connecting with Mother Earth through a nature walk.
Growing older is seen as a negative for women - losing fertility, skin elasticity, gaining weight and ageing, making us feel that we have lost our value in this society. However, the menopause can also bring lots of positives such as casting off what doesn't serve us and finding a new purpose in life.
Our half day retreat will allow you to connect with other women, learn techniques that may help with some menopause symptoms, unlock your own innate wisdom and creativity, and take home a unique piece of art.
Includes tea and homemade cake!
Please wear clothes that allow you to move easily. Yoga equipment is provided, however you may wish to bring your own mat.
All art materials are provided.
