Saturday 6th June
9.30-10.30am
Blackbirds Moor, opposite Heath Barn (near St John's Church)
A family-oriented, intergenerational community class to raise money for Our Heath Barn!
Led by experienced local yoga teacher, Maria Oliver
Heath Barn is a 500 year old building currently owned by Dacorum Borough Council. Its most recent use was as the council's Music School. It has lain empty for a few years and is under threat of being sold off for housing.
We have the chance to buy it back for the community! The vision is for an arts and wellbeing centre, so running a yoga class to raise money helps to make the vision more real!
This is a pay-as-you-feel class, with all money raised going to the Our Heath Barn campaign.
The class will be held outdoors in all but the very worst weather. If the weather is wet, we will only do standing yoga poses and outdoor mindful activities such as building a communal mandala out of natural objects.
Yoga mats can be provided but please bring your own if you don't mind it going onto the grass!
All ages welcome, Maria is qualified to teach yoga to children, teens, adults, older people, pregnant and postnatal.
