Fundraising for DENS and other news!

Well after a few weeks of Christmas markets and preparing for family birthdays, I think I'm finally starting to see the end of my to-do list in sight! Here is what is coming up now and in the New Year!

Book sales - fundraising for Dacorum Emergency Night Shelter (DENS)

For the whole of December, 20% of the RRP of my books will be donated to DENS, our local homelessness shelter and food bank. I'll be bringing copies to my class, or you can order from my shop! They make fantastic Christmas presents and I can write a message to the lucky recipient!

Fun, imaginative yoga and relaxation books for children - they may insist on reading them with you again and again!

Free postage if you spend over £20.

I'm low on copies of Red Kites and Once Upon a Time, You... so get in quick, otherwise your best bet is to order from Amazon who print on demand.

Also, there is ONE REMAINING 2024 DIARY - I'm so pleased to have sold all the other diaries and calendars! And just three more Christmas cards. If I sell them all, that's another £3.50 to DENS.

St John's Church Boxmoor Christmas Tree Festival

Friday 15th - Tuesday 19th December

I've sponsored a tree!

Most years I do a Boxmoor Yoga tree (last year I didn't have the time, energy, inspiration or money to do so) and this year's tree is again decorated with upcycled old yoga mats! I'm making embroidered gingerbread people and reindeer using old buttons, ribbon, bells, beads and, of course, yoga mats!

The decorations will be sold after the festival to raise money for Dacorum Emergency Night Shelter (DENS) and will be £5 each.

Art and Yoga Camp

Just a handful of places left!

Thursday 21st December, 9.00-12.00 at The Box Moor Trust Centre.

Nishma of Mindful Artbox has already set her dates for next year's camps, but I've had to decide not to join her - it was a difficult decision but my termtime commitments have increased, and holiday clubs don't fit round my family any more!

You can book on my website using the button below. Find out more about Nishma's classes at mindfulartbox.com

SUP Yoga

I am SO EXCITED to share that I am working with Monika from A1 SUP Hire from January 2024, to offer Stand Up Paddle Board Yoga classes! These will be in the Diving Pit at Hemel Hempstead Leisure Centre (Everyone Active) and can be booked through Monika's website. Monika is fabulous and I'm so excited to be working with her to offer these fun and relaxed classes!

More deatils to follow, but in the meantime, please visit www.a1suphire.co.uk to find out more and join the mailing list, more details coming soon!

Open Door Community Christmas Pop-up Shop

Open Door is a fantastic community cafe in Berkhamsted, running lots of classes and operating a Community Fridge.

They have invited local small businesses to provide our products for their Christmas Shop. 30% of takings will go to continuing the fantastic work that Open Door do.

The shop is open until the 6th January so you'll be able to pick up my books and other amazing gifts at the last minute! They are at 360-364 High Street, HP4 1HU - visit www.opendoorberkhamsted.co.uk to find out more.
