Spring is on the way! We can see the signs around us if we stop and look. Maybe you are feeling that you could come out of hibernation mode and start moving and stretching into the warmer air? If so, read on...
Here is what we have for you this Spring!

Family Yoga at the Three Blackbirds, Boxmoor
10am-11am, before the pub opens to the public
Saturday 21st February and Saturday 28th March
We use games, stories and fun partner poses to get ourselves moving, finishing with a calm relaxation session. Suitable for primary school aged children and their grown-ups.

Next block of classes
We start back the week beginning 23rd February.
All classes are designed to help you release tension, build strength, and help you relax. At Warner's End Community Centre unless otherwise stated!
General Hatha Yoga - mixed ability classes, suitable for total beginners!
Monday and Friday mornings, 9.15-10.30am
Tuesday and Wednesday evenings, 8.15-9.30pm
Pregnancy Yoga - meet other expectant mums, and learn techniques to help with pregnancy-related symptoms and birth - whatever you're planning!
Tuesday evenings, 7-8pm
Postnatal Yoga - bring your baby! Work around your baby's needs while you learn techniques to help with your postnatal recovery. Videos are sent out after every class in case you had to miss part of it.
Wednesday mornings, 11.00-12.00 followed by tea and biscuits!

Gentle Yoga - mostly chair based for those who find it hard to get down onto a mat. Suitable for most health conditions and injuries. Build strength and stay mobile.

Boxmoor Virtual Marathon
The inclusive, achievable health challenge!
£10 to enter
Complete your distance by 26th April
Get your medal!
The third Boxmoor Virtual Marathon is well underway, with two participants having already finished!
Our oldest participant is 92 (second oldest is 90) proving that age is no barrier!
We set this up two years ago to encourage people to get moving at their own pace. Unlike other sponsored activities that put pressure on you to do activities every day, this challenge is more likely to result in lasting good habits!
You have until the 26th April (London Marathon day!) to complete your marathon, however you want. In the past we've had swimmers, cyclists, walkers, runners, scooters and even horse riders! Take a look at our website to find out how to enter and get inspiration from our gallery of past medalists.
