Blue sky, sunshine, bluebells, it is lovely outside and we have lovely stuff planned for you!

The "Our Heath Barn" candle
You may have noticed this item in my online shop. There's a story behind it. Bear with me, it meanders a bit.
Those of you who have been attending my classes for a while, know that I am in the third year of Camps International fundraising. I helped one child fundraise so he could volunteer in Costa Rica last summer, knowing full well that his little sister would also want to do a similar expedition when she was old enough. One drawback of having your children two academic years apart. My daughter is now fundraising for her July 2027 expedition to Borneo by making gorgeous scented, hand-poured candles.
Meanwhile, a local lady/legend called Lisa Timms has been campaigning to save 500 year-old landmark Heath Barn for the community of Boxmoor.
And I thought, let's help each other. We chose the Verdant Blossoms fragrance for the "Our Heath Barn" candle, that captures the feeling of calm and escape that can be found in the Barn's courtyard. The vision for the Barn is a centre of creativity and wellbeing. Maybe a local yoga teacher might want to offer classes there.
The candle is priced at £10 and £2.50 of every candle sale will go to the Our Heath Barn campaign; the remainder covers my daughter's candle-making costs and helps to fund her expedition.
I'd love to sell 40 of these candles so we can donate £100 to the campaign.
